Being an Arab-American, Muslim standup comedian, author, and amateur boxer comes with a lot of life experiences. I proudly wear my religion on my sleeve, well actually on my head. I’ve been wearing a hijab since I was13, and I have never let that get in the way of being myself, no matter how the odds were against me.
After graduating from Montclair State College of the Arts with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in media, I discovered a passion for comedy. I began performing all over the United States, as well as internationally. Having opened up for top tier comedians such as Damon Wayans; Tiffany Haddish; Godfrey; Luenell; and more, has been a dream come true. I have been fortunate enough to have made appearances on The Food
Network; TRT; and Al Jazeera. I am currently on “Match Me Abroad”, TLC network.
As if wearing several different hats, or hijabs, is not enough, I am currently gearing up for my first professional boxing match. My first published book, “I’m A Princess Too,” centers around a young Muslim girl just trying to live a normal life. This is the basis for most of my stand up. “I’m A Princess Too” is available everywhere books are sold.
My love for connecting people through comedy, writing, and as a matchmaker has brought me here. Nina’s Matchmaking allows me to connect good people, with like minded relationship goals. I hope to make my impact on this world, and into history books for generations to come.
Wishing you laughter, love, and peace
